Experience & Expertise: Our experienced, consultant-led physiotherapy team is committed to supporting your physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.

Accessible: Physiotherapy at our bespoke and beautiful barn with free parking, or online. Whatever suits you.

Who is Physiotherapy for?

Our physiotherapy service is ideal for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions (such as muscle, bone, joint and nerve problems) and those with associated conditions (such as osteoporosis, different types of arthritis, or balance & mobility problems).

Injury Recovery: : From sports injuries to back pain, we treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and associated conditions. If attending the clinic is difficult due to time constraints or mobility issues, we offer Physio at Home or Physio Online.

Post-surgery Rehabilitation: Early physiotherapy is crucial following surgery. We offer bespoke post-operative rehabilitation and have excellent relationships with local Orthopaedic and other medical consultants.

Recovery After a Hospital Stay: Extended bed rest can lead to weakness and loss of mobility, particularly for older adults or those with complex medical conditions. We help you rebuild strength, regain confidence, and support your return to daily activities.

Whatever your condition, we’re here (at The Barn on the Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking) to support you, on every stage of your journey.

What to Expect & “Best practice” promise.

Appointments last typically between 45 to 60 minutes and are available throughout the day.

During your first session, and in line with Best Practice Guidelines your physiotherapist will:

Conduct a Detailed Assessment: Discuss your condition, medical history, expectations, and goals, and use evidence-based outcome measures.

Perform Physical Evaluations: Including assessing your range of movement, strength, and carry out relevant diagnostic & functional tests; including neurological assessment where appropriate.

Provide a Diagnosis: Where appropriate, we will explain your condition and discuss the best evidence-based treatment options.

Create a Personalised Treatment Plan: We will agree on a tailored plan, including recommended treatments, rehabilitation exercises, and the frequency of further appointments.

After your session, where appropriate, you will receive a comprehensive summary, including home exercises, advice, and self-management recommendations.
