Other Physio-led Classes
Our Dynamic Barre classes use small repetitive movements in combination with more traditional Pilates/dance style movements to wake up your muscles in a moderate to high intensity, fun workout! This form of exercise is mainly done in standing, though there will usually be a small mat component too. It is great for posture, strength, and mobility. It differs from our signature Dynamic Pilates classes by making full use of the ballet bar for variation, a greater ‘stretch’ component and some intense leg work in standing!
Led by a Physio, this class is aimed at people wanting to work on their mobility and function to optimise daily activities and independence. It is suitable for people who cannot or would prefer not to get down onto the floor. It is also suitable as a rehabilitation class, to recover from injury or as a step up to returning to a Pilates or Yoga class.
