Our specialist Consultant-led Physiotherapy team lead a range of CPD activities for health professionals - see what's coming up in the next few months.
  • This evidence- and case-based interactive course covers the biopsychosocial principles and practical considerations for assessing and managing common musculoskeletal conditions. Participants will have the opportunity to apply these theoretical and practical concepts throughout the day. This will boost their confidence and clinical reasoning for the recognition, differentiation, diagnosis, and management of people with common musculoskeletal conditions.

  • This evidence- and case-based interactive course is for therapists (across all sectors) and covers the principles and practice of exercise prescription; including physical activity guidelines, the principles and practice of resistance training, exercise adherence, behaviour change and the role of outcome measures. Participants will have the opportunity to apply these theoretical and practical concepts throughout the day. This will boost their confidence and reasoning relating to exercise prescription, for people with and without musculoskeletal conditions.

  • Learn how to take key Pilates movements into standing for improved functional strength, balance and coordination
  • Learn how to think about sequencing movements in standing, forming fluid chains of movement
  • Learn how to use pace and rhythm, changes to lend variety and interest to your classes
  • Learn how to use small equipment in standing to increase challenge and provide further variety
  • Learn how to weave yoga inspired movement into your standing repertoire for greater variety, mobility and range of movement challenge
